Tom Cruise & Annabelle Wallis Bring 'The Mummy' to Africa

Tom Cruise and the cast of The Mummy have arrived in Africa to begin shooting scenes for the upcoming flick.

The 54-year-old actor, as well as his co-stars Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson and Courtney B. Vance, were previously filming in London.

Annabelle took to her Twitter to share a photo with Tom and the other stars while on set.

“#THEMUMMY in Africa. #Namibia, we are so excited to be here!” Annabelle captioned the image.

The Mummy is set to hit theaters on June 9, 2017.

    Bring The Mummy to Africa????? The entire continent??? All 54, and 2 disputed, countries???? WOW!! What an ambitious project. Filming in ALL OF AFRICA. Probably the most expensive movie ever made. Great journalism JUST JARED. Thank you for keeping us informed about the infinite scope of this project. Wow!!

    Lemme guess, Tom’s strategically placed hand around Annabelle’s shoulder is supposed to be the first clue of a “romance” on set. The rumor about said romance will make it’s way to gossip mags just in time for the movie’s release next year. You heard it hear first folks.
