    Awful procedure.

  • Casey C

why? my friend lost her eyebrows (and eyelashes) due to severe health issues and hated having to draw them on or worry that they were coming off. she’s had them tattooed for years and it makes her so much happier and helps her feel ‘normal’. cancer patients also often have this procedure. why is it so awful?

  • Mark Jekabson

I was referring more to the filming of and looking at it than anything else but the procedure itself and the pain it causes is also awful to me. Nevermind how it looks afterward. If she is doing it to support cancer patients that’s one thing but if it is permanent ugliness then I just don’t see why she did it. Mind you I’m not calling everyone with face tattoos ‘ugly’ but on this particular face it just looks ‘wrong’. My understanding was that she was getting permanent tattoos with a tattoo-gun and having it filmed for posterity but if there is something about this procedure that is different from that then consider me misinformed. From the look of it they were ‘painting’ the tattoos on so perhaps this is another technique other than one that is painful and therefore hard to look at without seeing pain. I didn’t see the results afterward but would just have to ask why she did it if she looked perfectly normal before.

What next? She’s already had her nose & lips done, this tattoo is minor but she’ll be the Cat Woman soon enough.

  • MetalQuintessence

She had her nose and lips done? o_O

  • MetalQuintessence

I can’t say it’s awful, but her natural looks was so much better. I’ve seen a way better job at perma tattoo make up, tbh who ever did that to her really ripped her off as they say. :P

  • Gina

Is gonna document herself getting those lip injections that she so obviously had done too?

  • Casey C

I’m afraid that yes, you are utterly misinformed. while they use the word ‘tattoo’ cosmetically applied eyebrow ‘tattoos’ are not permanent, they have to be touched up. they look very dark immediately and then fade over a few days. they need redoing every year or so depending on your skin type, sun exposure etc. it doesn’t use the sort of tattoo gun you’re thinking of and isn’t anywhere near as painful as an actual tattoo. a topical analgesic is applied and then its generally a sort of bladed pen rather than needle gun and only little more painful than tweezing ones eyebrows according to my friend.

her eyebrows after the work are hardly ‘ugly’, they’re actually very well done and chances are if you hadn’t know about her ‘awful procedure’ then you’d not have considered them so. maybe she has thinning eyebrows, maybe she used to overpluck and thats left them thin, maybe there are small patches she’s self-conscious about, maybe she was having previous work topped up and so while they looked okay to you or me, to her maybe they didn’t and needed to be redone.

  • Mark Jekabson

OK. I stand corrected. It was the permanence and pain that I was referring to as ugly not the results of the procedure which if harmless does not have that connotation to me. As far as I can see in the pictures the tattoo is barely distinguishable from her real eyebrows so looking at it I wouldn’t be able to tell that she had had anything done. I would consider that she looked as normal as she did before. I think the headline was a bit misleading as it lead me to believe that she was having a ‘traditional’ (for lack of a better word) tattoo applied to her face and given the extremity of that act as far as how it feels and how long it lasts I was critical of the whole process including myself being a witness to it. Thanks for informing me about the procedure I witnessed as I did not know much about it and it’s uses as a cosmetic modification. The video was certainly educational with the descriptions the tattoo artist gives to some of her processes during the course of it. I think I was just being squeamish about the whole thing because I had certain prejudices about what a tattoo is and where it belongs.

    NOONE GIVES A FLYING FUCK

  • Gina

    Yes, it’s obvious.

  • MetalQuintessence

Everyone were saying that about Angelina, I was never obsessed with her back then when everyone were so “ohh Angelina”, but I wasn’t convinced about her lip job. Years later we’ve seen teen pics of her with the same lips… perhaps she injected herself as a child? I think about the same about Bella.

  • Gina

No, I’ve always thought Angelina’s lips were real. Bella didn’t always have full lips, though. They don’t look natural to me.

  • MetalQuintessence

I still am not convinced, and her lips looks still ok even if she did. Nothing like certain Kardashians f.e. :P

I’ve seen ppl bashing on Munn as well, which I find utterly absurd.
All the pics of her were her wearing lighter make up and no foundation and her with some retouching fon-du-tene or stuff like that. And you can clearly see her freckles are still there. They haven’t gone. That’s another story.

As far as Thorne goes, 1 of her sisters, Dani is pretty similar to her. I doubt they went to the same plastic surgeon. And she’s been a teen turning into woman. Ppl changes, some more than other. And for me it doesn’t matter whether you did something or not, as long it looks good it’s ok. And not fucking your health up. :P

Other than that, this fake eyebrows aren’t that pretty, she didn’t needed them anyway, but if she likes it well her choice and her body. :P

Well, believe what you want, but most people don’t grow lips overnight. Just saying.
