David Huddleston Dead - 'Big Lebowski' Actor Dies at 85
David Huddleston, who is best known for his work in the cult classic The Big Lebowski, has died at age 85.
The actor died on Tuesday (August 2) in Santa Fe, N.M. following a battle with advanced heart and kidney disease, his wife Sarah Koeppe told the Los Angeles Times.
David played the title character in The Big Lebowski and though he wasn’t in many scenes, he definitely made a big impact!
Sarah told the Times that David would say, “I was in every cult film, but it never got the money when I needed it to.” His “crowning achievement” was playing the role of Benjamin Franklin in the Broadway show 1776.
