Dwayne Johnson Calls Out His Male 'Fast & Furious' Co-Stars in Instagram Post

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been busy filming Fast and Furious 8 but it seems like it may have not been the best experience for him.

The 44-year-old actor took to his Instagram on Monday (August 8) to explain that although he’s a big fan of Universal and his female co-stars, he’s had some issues with the male actors.

While he doesn’t name names, the male cast includes Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, and Scott Eastwood.

“This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ‘em,” he began.

Dwayne added, “My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.”

He also explained that he’s ready to finish the movie strong and that the tension will add to film as a whole, which is due out in April 2017.

so let’s just cross out Kurt Russell because, come on. And he said “franchise” not “movie,” so I’m guessing it’s a regular character…

    I bet is Tyrese.

First name that popped out for me was Tyrese. Kinda surprised about Dwayne calling a colleague out like that.

Someone is not going to be asked back.

Part of me thinks he might be joking, perhaps in order to promote the movie. His post reads like he’s in character from his wrestling days, especially when he says “candy asses.” I don’t know many people who promote movies a year in advance, but the way that he made sure to mention when exactly the movie was premiering seems suspicious. When April 2017 rolls around and it’s time to promote the movie, the media will be sure to mention this post and it will once again be on the tip of people’s tongues.

But if The Rock is being serious, my vote is on Tyrese being the culprit lol.

I’d cross Vin out. He seems like a genuine nice guy, beloved by his co-stars. And what about Clint’s son? He has done literally nothing and already acts like his sh*t smells sweeter than most.

I don’t know. For me, the first name to come to mind was Scott Eastwood. From reading a few interviews, who always came off arrogant and obnoxious to me. It just seems strange that after so many movies, it’s this one, where Johnson decides to speak out.

  • 777

Yeah, i saw a lot of people speculating about him too.

DRAG HA The Rock. SCALP HA!!!!

Now, he carries the Eastwood name…is it because he hopes to get attention. Because awhile back Scott himself said he refused to be h=in his Dads shadow which is why the different last name… Well, apparently he has changed his mind. Not sure if the previous last name was his Moms…but he contradicts himself as well as is conceited….

The big difference between this movie and the last cpl is that Paul Walker is not on there. Could Paul have been some sort of force that kept everyone more relaxed? I too find it interesting that Dwayne says something now, but also that this is the first Film WITHOUT Paul there. I know he was killed in last movie but still there for most of the movie. This is the FIRST without him at all (Not counting Tokyo Drift). Make me wonder if these guys are all getting big heads now. Not saying they are, but it is interesting. I was not a fan of them going back for 8. Thought they should have stopped with 7 and proper respect to Paul.

Do not forget that after the first FF movie, Vin had XXX and Pitch Black and the next movie only had Paul in it with Tyrese. Vin came scrambling back at the end of Tokyo Drift. More than likely trying to get back on board to franchise that he feels wa all about him. So I think that the Rock could be about Eastwood, Vin, Tyrese easily.

Same! Something about Tyrese, the way he is on social media just seems staged and too much. scott is also a good one too. I remember him having some tension between brad pitt and shia labeouf on set.

Being passive aggressive and not naming names makes you a candyass Dwayne. Thanks for the gossip blue balls.

For Dwayne to call out a colleague like that, the guy must be one big a-hole. #TeamRock

    Nobody thinks it’s Statham?

I do remember tough guy Dwyayne was just talking about possibly running for POTUS in the future. Forget Donald Trump, America needs a president who can use a sophisticated vocabulary and his tough guy persona to impress other heads of state and berate them into submission: “Hey, candy ass, Putin.” #idocracy

This guy is a sweet heart and big old softie. If someone made him angry, you can bet that guy is an ass h@le
