Anthony Ervin Takes the Gold in 50m Freestyle at Rio Olympics!
Anthony Ervin just won his second gold medal of the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics during the 50m freestyle on Friday (August 12) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The 35-year-old Team USA swimmer had previously won a gold medal at the 2000 Olympics and then decided to retire.
Anthony‘s decision to come out of retirement proved to be a good choice with the medals he has been racking up! This win makes him the oldest Olympic swimmer to ever win an individual event.
Meanwhile, Anthony‘s teammate Nathan Adrian took the bronze medal and and France’s Florent Manaudou took silver.
