Katie Cassidy Hits The Beach in Miami In Cute Bikini

Katie Cassidy shows off her cute bikini while enjoying some time off in Miami, Fla., on Friday afternoon (August 12).

The 29-year-old Arrow actress shared a gorgeous pic on Twitter, showing off the beauty of the skies: “Paradise #miami,” she wrote.

If you hadn’t heard the news, Katie has struck a deal just like Wentworth Miller and John Barrowman in the DC Universe shows, where she’ll be considered a series regular across multiple CW superhero shows. This includes Arrow, The Flash, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

She’ll first appear in the season 5 premiere of Arrow, reappearing as Laurel Lance. Katie also made an appearance on The Flash, as Miss Lance’s Earth-Two doppelganger, Black Siren, last season.

aka the producers got a ton of backlash, even from their own staff, over ‘killing’ Laurel, so once again they’re undoing a death and bringing the actor back. Killing Laurel was a joke but immediately taking it back again….does anyone die anymore in arrow?

With time travel and the multi-verse, no one really dies there.

I know, but just like the flashbacks have gotten super old, so has the producers trying to up ratings with another ‘oh my god, who died, this is devastating, how much more loss and heartache can this character take – oh wait, nah they back, it’s cool’. everyone who ‘dies’ comes back and so the deaths become meaningless and the ensuing emotional response from an audience becomes little more than a ‘oh, but she’ll e back for dinner, right?’. they built up Laurel’s death as this big season arc of ‘who is in the grave?’ and then undo it. it’s pointless. it’s bad writing. the whole Laurel dies thing was bad writing because they just decided to kill someone and didn’t even know who it was going to be when they started the arc. they just thought a death would be cool. so it means nothing.

I know they’re doing Flashpoint and so that affects everything else in the DCTV verse and so they can do the ‘what happened with Darhk never happened so she’s alive’ blah blah, but they did also get a lot of backlash from the audience on them killing her on a whim.Arrow has been going downhill for two seasons now and if it weren’t for
context of cross-over episodes with the much better Flash, I’d have
junked it. I struggled to get through the last season, it was awful.
