'Wonder Woman' Director Responds to Claims Film is 'Another Mess'

Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is responding to a letter, apparently written by a former Warner Bros. employee, calling the movie “another mess.”

According to a report (via THR), the letter read, “What are you even doing? I wish to God you were forced to live out of a car until you made a #1 movie of the year. Maybe Wonder Woman wouldn’t be such a mess. Don’t try to hide behind the great trailer. People inside are already confirming it’s another mess. It is almost impressive how you keep rewarding the same producers and executives for making the same mistakes, over and over.”

Patty responded on Twitter over the weekend, saying, “Woah, just saw this press about WW having problems. Are they serious? This is some made up bs right here. Made up! Produce a source, anyone.”

Anyone could make these kind of rumours, the internet allow us to hide. With that being said, i won’t be surprised if the movie is a mess.

Her less than classy response gives me nothing but certainty that this movie will be a stinker regardless of the box office. Promise that it will be a masterpiece and/or give an exclusive early first look to a respected critic. They can’t and instead focus on what the movie isn’t rather than what it is.

Stop with the remakes and action/comic book movies except for summer and Spring Break. Give this oldie a decent original movie to see please.

Well I can see both sides of the argument, even if this statement is fabricated (and it very well could be) there is something to be said about giving the same producers (I’m talking about you Zack Snyder) chance after chance after chance, after we’re repeatedly told these movies are under performing. Irrespective of the fact they’re making millions of dollars. The fact is, another producer can possible make a better film, with less of a budget and actually make a film that people want to see.

I personally feel Zack Snyder has ruined the Superman franchise for me, and he’s ruining the entire DC universe by having his fingers in every pie that comes out from DC, irrespective of whether he’s the director.
