Daniel Radcliffe on Using Racial Slurs in 'Imperium': 'It's Horrible'
Daniel Radcliffe wears a suit jacket despite the extreme heat on Monday (August 15) in New York City.
The 27-year-old actor has been promoting Imperium, where he plays an undercover FBI agent who has to join a white supremacist group.
Daniel told CBS that is was a horrible experience to use racial slurs, which were in the script of the film.
“It’s horrible — even though you’re acting, it’s really horrible to say those words,” Daniel said. “I found it so. I would, like, incessantly run up to the people I was throwing these slurs at between takes and say, ‘I’m so sorry, I’, so sorry.’ Those words have power for a reason. Yeah, they feel very bad to say.”
FYI: Daniel is wearing a full Brooks Brothers Red Fleece look.
