Hulk Hogan Responds to News of Gawker.com Shutting Down

Hulk Hogan has taken to Twitter to respond to the news that Gawker.com is shutting down following his victory in a lawsuit against the website.

The 63-year-old former pro wrestler seemingly took credit for the site’s fall after he was awarded $140 million from the media company. “They messed with the wrong guy brother HH,” he said.

Hogan sued the website for invasion of privacy after it posted a sex tape featuring the wrestler.

Univision has announced plans to buy Gawker Media, which includes websites such as io9 and Gizmodo, for $135 million. The company plans on shutting down Gawker, though.
