Derek Hough's Production of 'Singin' in the Rain' Has Been Delayed

Derek Hough just announced that his production of “Singin’ in the Rain” is being delayed!

The 31-year-old dancer and actor was set to return to Broadway early next year but production is being delayed due to a lack of available theaters.

“I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. This fall, I was planning on being immersed in rehearsals for ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ on Broadway, but due to successes of the shows currently running, that project has been delayed because there simply isn’t a theatre available. ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ is still very much part of my future plans,” Derek wrote on his Facebook page.

Derek won’t be slowing down though! He’s set to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars this fall and will be performing in NBC’s Hairspray Live!
