Emma Stone's 'La La Land' Takes Opening Slot At Venice Film Festival 2016!

Emma Stone happily waves to photographers while arriving at Venice Airport held during the 2016 Venice Film Festival on Tuesday (August 30) in Venice, Italy.

The 27-year-old actress is set to premiere her anticipated film La La Land, which also stars Ryan Gosling, during the prestigious opening gala slot.

“It’s a wonderful film, a classical musical, and a marvellous tribute to American cinema from a contemporary perspective,” Venice Film Festival director Alberto Barbera expressed (via The Guardian).

The Venice Film Festival runs from August 31 – September 10.
