Scott Eastwood Discusses the Cutthroat Nature of Hollywood
Scott Eastwood is featured on the cover of At Large Magazine‘s September 2016 fashion issue, on newsstands now.
Here is what the 30-year-old actor had to share with the mag:
On being in the business for many years: “I’ve been doing this for thirteen plus years now and it’s been an interesting evolution. First, it’s smaller parts in bigger films. Then it’s a little bigger part(s) in smaller films. Then it’s a lead in a really small film. A slightly bigger part in some slightly bigger films. And then a lead in a studio film.”
On people who think his name gets him places: “They’ve obviously never been to Hollywood. Hollywood is cutthroat. Nobody cares. If you’re not right for the role, if you don’t have enough juice, if you haven’t been in enough big movies, if your name doesn’t mean enough – yet – then nobody gives a sh-t.”
