New Blu-Ray Releases
Captain America: Civil War – Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, and Scarlett Johannson, Captain America: Civil War is out in stores today.

This bold, exciting, and exceptional addition to the Captain America story inventively answers the great ‘what if’ question of “who would win in a fight between Captain America and Iron Man?”

The film follows Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, as he struggles with a new act that requires superheros to register with the government, an act that Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, has viewed as necessary. Fueling this story is Cap’s loyalty to his brain-washed and misunderstood best friend Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier, who is wrongly accused of a terrorist act.

The new action flick features some very memorable scenes, including a notable airport scene where Spider-man and Ant-man steal the show. It’s also important to note that the story tends to be a lot more cohesive and different compared to the comic book version.

As a result, Civil War is an amazing summer flick representing the 13th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Special features include a gag reel, a two-part ‘making of’ featurette, and deleted & extended scenes.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping – starring The Lonely Island‘s Andy Samberg, Popstar hits shelves today.

The comedy follows Conner4Real, a music superstar who struggles after his second album bombs. The film is a modern ‘spoof’ of modern saccharine pop-music and is filled with cameos.

This film is recommended for any fans of the SNL alum and those looking for humorous slapstick SNL type humor.

Aliens: 30th Anniversary Also worth noting today is the special re-release of Aliens which celebrates its 30th Anniversary.

The sequel to the original “Alien”, the film follows Ellen Ripley who wakes up 57 years later to find that a planet is taken over by the same aliens she battled before.

With the popularity of the hit show “Stranger Things”, this release is great to watch to understand the tribute and nostalgia of great 80′s action films.
