Channing Tatum's Stripper Past Brought Up By Amber Rose in New Interview: 'We've Had the Same Life'
Channing Tatum makes a low key arrival at LAX Airport on Tuesday (September 13) in Los Angeles.
The 36-year-old actor, and former stripper, was the subject of a recent interview by Amber Rose, who is also a former stripper. Amber told Cosmopolitan South Africa that there’s a double standard when it comes to male vs female strippers.
“He even made a movie about being a stripper! And everyone bought it and they loved it and they were like, ‘Oh, my God, Magic Mike, we gotta go see it!’ But if I did that, people would tell me I was disgusting,” Amber said (via Us Weekly). “I run eight business, I’m the CEO of my own company, and still I’m called a stripper. It’s so ridiculous. We’ve had the same life, [Channing] and I, and I’m dumbed down for it. It’s not his fault — it’s just society.”
