Kate Hudson Got 'Quite Emotional' Working With Step-Father Kurt Russell In 'Deepwater Horizon'!

Mark Wahlberg happily poses alongside his co-star Kate Hudson while attending the premiere of their latest film Deepwater Horizon held at The Orpheum Theatre on Monday (September 19) in New Orleans, La.

The 45-year-old actor and Kate, 37, were joined at the event by their co-stars Gina Rodriguez and Kurt Russell (not pictured), who is Kate‘s step-father!

“We had only a small moment on screen together, but it was great to be on set with my dad,” Kate expressed about working with Kurt. “It reminded me of being on set with him as a kid and falling in love with movies. It was really quite emotional actually. Now, we really want to do more.”


FYI: Kate is wearing an Elie Saab jumpsuit and jacket paired with Brian Atwood shoes. Gina is wearing a SAFiYAA jumpsuit.
