Liev Schreiber Doesn't See Himself As A Leading Man: 'I Think I Am A Supporting Actor'
Liev Schreiber is mighty fine while posing for photographs at his TimesTalks panel for his upcoming Broadway production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses held at Merkin Concert Hall on Tuesday (September 20) in New York City.
The 48-year-old actor was joined by his co-star Janet McTeer and reporter Michael Paulson.
Liev takes the lead as Le Vicomte de Valmont in the production scheduled to run October 8 – January 22, 2017.
“I wouldn’t think of myself immediately as a guy with all the right lines, a pickup artist. It’s a hard part for me, an awkward, uncomfortable mismatch there for me,” Liev told the New York Times. “I also honestly think I am first and foremost — this sounds terrible, it sounds contrived, but it’s really real — I think I am a supporting actor.”
