Leonardo DiCaprio Talks Climate Change With President Barack Obama at SXSL
Leonardo DiCaprio is all smiles while attending at South by South Lawn held at the White House on Monday (October 3) in Washington, D.C.
The 41-year-old actor was also joined on stage by President Barack Obama as well as climate scientist Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, where the trio had a conversation about climate change.
During the discussion, Leo expressed that a presidential candidate who does not believe in climate change should not be allowed to hold office.
“If you do not believe in climate change, you do not believe in facts or science or empirical truths, and in my opinion you should not be allowed to hold public office,” he said.
After the discussion, Leo premiered his new documentary about climate change, Before the Flood.
