'Enchanted 2' Finds Director, Eyes Summer 2017 Start Date (Report)

The sequel to Enchanted – currently being called Enchanted 2 – has reportedly found a director in Adam Shankman!

The movie has been in development since 2010, so we’re glad to see it’s moving along!

The sequel to the 2007 movie is expected to see Amy Adams reprise her role as Princess Giselle. Disney is reportedly eyeing a summer production start, The Wrap reports.

Enchanted 2 is expected to take place 10 years after the first Enchanted, with Giselle questioning her happily ever after.

Adam has previously directed many hits including Rock of Ages, Hairspray, The Pacifier and more.
