Gal Gadot Addresses Wonder Woman's Sexuality in New Interview

Current Wonder Woman writer Greg Rucka recently commented that he believes the character is bisexual.

Gal Gadot, who portrays the superhero in the DC Entertainment cinematic world, was asked if Wonder Woman is bisexual in the character’s solo film in a new interview.

“It’s not something we’ve explored,” Gal told Variety. “It never came to the table, but when you talk theoretically about all the women on Themyscira and how many years she was there, then what he said makes sense. In this movie she does not experience any bisexual relationships. But it’s not about that. She’s a woman who loves people for who they are. She can be bisexual. She loves people for their hearts.”

If you didn’t know, Themyscira, where Wonder Woman resided for years, is populated solely by women in the comics.

Wonder Woman will be released on June 2, 2017.
