Jennifer Hudson to Star in New Indie Drama 'Monster'

Jennifer Hudson is all smiles while stepping out for the Philly Fights Cancer Round 2 Event on Saturday night (October 15) in Philadelphia, Penn.

The 35-year-old Oscar winner and singer was joined by Lionel Richie and Tig Notaro.

According to Variety, Jennifer is set to star in the upcoming drama Monster, which follows a “17-year-old honors student and aspiring filmmaker Steve Harmon, charged with felony murder for a crime he says he did not commit.”
