Taylor Swift Says She Felt 'Violated' During Alleged DJ Groping Incident

Taylor Swift is currently embroiled in a legal battle with a DJ in Colorado who claims he was fired from his job at 98.5 KYGO over her accusations that he groped her butt during a meet-and-greet photo in 2013.

After DJ David Mueller sued the 26-year-old singer – saying that maybe the alleged touching had happened by accident, or that it was actually his former boss who had groped her – Taylor fought back by filing her own suit.

While a judge granted Taylor‘s request to seal one of the photos from the public (aka it cannot be used as evidence until the case goes to trial), the judge has also denied her request to withhold other evidence.

For this reason, the transcript from Taylor‘s deposition concerning alleged incident is now available to the public (via Billboard).

According to a videotape of Taylor‘s deposition, she claimed, “Right as the moment came for us to pose for the photo, he took his hand and put it up my dress and grabbed onto my ass cheek and no matter how much I scooted over it was still there. It was completely intentional, I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life.”

“I remember being frantic, distressed, feeling violated in a way I had never experienced before,” she added. “A meet-and-greet is supposed to be a situation where you’re thanking people for coming, you’re supposed to be welcoming people into your home, which is the arena for that day, and for someone to violate that hospitality in that way, I was completely stunned.”

Taylor‘s lawyers have also filed a motion for summary judgment, claiming that she never intentionally got in the middle of David‘s contract with KYGO.

By filing this deposition, Taylor‘s team reportedly hopes to win the case before it goes to trial.
