Donald Trump's Hollywood Star Vandal Speaks Out, Explains Why He Did It (Video)
A man named James Otis is taking responsibility for vandalizing Donald Trump‘s Hollywood Walk of Fame star earlier today (October 26), and now he’s explaining why.
“The reason I did it was because of the amount of sexual assaults that not only my own family has experienced, but the many women that Donald Trump has done this to…The point of the exercise was to take the star and auction it off…and take that money and distribute it to the women who have been sexually assaulted by Donald Trump,” he told TMZ in a video. The site reports that he made off with about $30,000 in goods and it is a felony crime.
“I didn’t get the actual star, but I got the emblem and the entire name…I just had a sledgehammer and a pick…I really wanted to do this,” James added.
He also adds that he has an attorney and will turn himself in shortly.
