Kylie Jenner's 'Smile' Lip Kit Raises Over $150K For Smile Train
Kylie Jenner meets with Smile Train CEO, Susannah Schaefer, during a check ceremony in Los Angeles on Wednesday (October 26).
The 19-year-old reality star and makeup guru presented a check for over $150,000 to the organization. The funds raised — from the sale of Kylie Cosmetics’ Smile Lip Kit — will help 638 cleft children receive not only new smiles, but also second chances at life.
“I couldn’t be happier that 100% of the net proceeds are going straight to Smile Train to help kids around the world get the surgery they need to help them have beautiful smiles and the opportunity to live healthy, happy lives,” Kylie shared in a statement.
She added, “It’s really important to me to present this check to Susannah today, knowing that 638 cleft children will now have the chance to thrive. It’s an honor to be part of changing so many children’s futures, I’m excited to continue my relationship with Smile Train and see the difference we make together.”
The little boy, Zachary, is one of the patients who received his free cleft surgery at a local Smile Train partner hospital in Ethiopia.
FYI: Kylie is wearing an EF Collection necklace.
