Nate Parker Accused of Exposing Himself to Female Student Trainer at Penn State (Report)
Birth of a Nation‘s Nate Parker has been accused of exposing himself to a female student trainer during his time Penn State University. Nate was on the wrestling team, and this young woman served as a trainer at the time.
The 36-year-old actor’s alleged exposure was revealed while the state attorney general’s was investigating the school’s past football coach Jerry Sandusky, who was involved in sexual abuse of children.
“I was shaken,” the accuser told the New York Times. “I was crying.” She told the paper that Nate gave her unwanted attention while she worked with the wrestling team. She did report the incident to the athletic department, but decided not to press charges. “It was my decision not to report,” she said.
“This is the first Mr. Parker has ever heard of this,” Nate’s lawyer David J. Matlof told the publication. “He recognizes the seriousness of the issue, but this claim is completely untrue.”
Nate was once charged with raping a student at Penn State while he attended the school. He was acquitted of those charges.
