Bill Murray Celebrates Cubs World Series Win with Lots of Champagne!
Bill Murray pops open lots of champagne to celebrate the Cubs winning the 2016 World Series in the clubhouse at Progressive Field on Wednesday (November 2) in Cleveland, Ohio.
The 66-year-old actor is a lifelong Cubs fan and poured lots of champagne with President of Baseball Operations for the Chicago Cubs Theo Epstein and many of the players. Bill has been making headlines since the Cubs have been playing in the World Series – he even gave total strangers tickets to the game to sit right next to him!
“I never panicked. Of course I thought it was going to happen,” Bill told CNS Chicago after the big win while still popping champagne.
