Lady Gaga Might Play Donatella Versace in 'American Crime Story' Season 3!

Lady Gaga is reportedly in talks to play the role of Donatella Versace in the upcoming third season of American Crime Story, which is as perfect casting as you can get!

The third season of Ryan Murphy‘s FX anthology series will be focusing on the murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace, the brother of Donatella. Us Weekly broke the news of the possible casting.

While nothing has yet been confirmed, Ryan was recently asked about the casting during an interview this past weekend at EW‘s PopFest. The panel moderator suggested that Gaga would be perfect for the role and he replied, “Ya think?” with a grin.

Gaga of course has a close friendship with Donatella. She named a song after her for her 2013 album Artpop and starred in Versace‘s Spring 2014 ad campaign.

The third season of American Crime Story will come after the upcoming second season, which will revolve around Hurricane Katrina.
