Donald Trump Says Beyonce Campaigning for Hillary Clinton is 'Almost Like Cheating'
Donald Trump is sharing his opinion about celebrities rallying for particular candidates.
At a campaign rally held on Saturday afternoon (November 5) in Reno, Nev., the Republican presidential nominee expressed his belief that the practice is totally unfair.
“On quick notice, we didn’t bring any so-called stars along – we didn’t need them,” Donald told the crowd. “The reason Hillary [Clinton] has to do that is, nobody comes for her. She can’t fill a room. That’s almost like a form of cheating, right?”
During the middle of his speech, Donald was rushed off stage by two secret service agents, and armed personnel went into the crowd to handcuff a man whom they thought might be a threat.
No weapon was discovered on the man, a law enforcement official later confirmed to CNN.
“I would like to thank the United States Secret Service and the law enforcement resources in Reno and the state of Nevada for their fast and professional response,” Donald said in a statement after the rally. “I also want to thank the many thousands of people present for their unwavering and unbelievable support. Nothing will stop us – we will make America great again!”
