Anderson Cooper Grills Trump's Campaign Manager Over His 'Irresponsible' Speculation
Donald Trump‘s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway made an appearance on Anderson Cooper‘s CNN show on Sunday night (November 6) and he grilled her about his “irresponsible” speculation of an FBI investigation.
After the FBI announced that it would launch another investigation into Hillary Clinton‘s emails, Trump speculated that the new findings would lead to criminal charges.
FBI director Jim Comey revealed that Clinton was again cleared of any criminal activity.
“It’s irresponsible for someone who might be President of the United States to be, in your words, ‘speculating’ about an active investigation when he has no actual facts,” Anderson said to Kellyanne, who responded by saying, “everybody speculated.”
“If everybody jumped off a bridge, doesn’t mean you should, too. Don’t you think it is irresponsible?” Anderson added.
With a smile, Kellyanne responded, “No, I don’t think he’s irresponsible.”
