'Stranger Things' Star Shannon Purser Survived Self Harm

Stranger Things actress Shannon Purser is bravely opening up about her battle with self harm.

The 19-year-old actress, who plays Barb on the show, took to her Twitter to share a photo of an old reminder of when she used to self harm.

“*TRIGGER WARNING* I haven’t self-harmed in years, but I kept this around, ‘just in case.’ I forgot it was there & now it’s in the trash,” she wrote, along with a photo of an unused razor.

Shannon later added, “Recovery is possible. Please don’t give up on yourself.
