Hillary Clinton Will Not Concede on Election Night, Will Speak Wednesday Morning
UPDATE: Hillary will speak at 10:30 am EST on Wednesday (November 9).
Hillary Clinton will not be giving an election night speech and the supporters at her New York City headquarters were told to go home at around 2:00am local time.
The election results have not yet been determined officially, but it is expected that Donald Trump will be declared the winner and become the next President of the United States.
John Podesta, the chairman of Clinton‘s presidential campaign, took to the stage at headquarters to thank her supporters for being present at the event and to let them know that Hillary will speak in the morning.
“We are so proud of her,” he said. “She has done an amazing job and she is not done yet. We can wait a little longer – can’t we? They’re still counting votes and every vote should count.”
It is expected that she will concede to Trump in the morning.
