Hillary Clinton Blames Election Loss on FBI Director James Comey

Hillary Clinton is placing the blame on her loss in the presidential election on FBI director James Comey.

The Democratic nominee had a conference call with donors on Saturday (November 12) and said that resurfaced suspicion of her emails barred any positive movement in her campaign.

“There are lots of reasons why an election like this is not successful,” Hillary said on the call, a donor told The New York Times. “Our analysis is that Comey’s letter raising doubts that were groundless, baseless, proven to be, stopped our momentum.”

Comey sent a letter to Congress days before the election announcing that he was looking into the email server once again. Two days before the election, Hillary was once again cleared by the FBI, but she says this letter was even more damaging.

DO YOU THINK that James Comey is to blame for Hillary Clinton’s election loss?

James Comey was to blame and he will be fired by Obama before he leaves office for helping to make Donald Trump President.

  • namers

Agreed. I worked the election for 15 1/2 hours and I deserved a better outcome.

i wonder how this ever so decent (supposedly) man will feel about his legacy that will follow him………forever.

  • jane

i guess she just can’t understand that people who voted for Trump don’t like HER, it has nothing to do w/anyone else. she’s a career politician and no one is to blame for that but her…

One year have passed since I abandoned my last work and i couldn’t be happier now… I started doing work from my house, for a company I stumbled upon on-line, for several hours a day, and I profit now much more than i did on my previous work… My last month check was for 9000 dollars… The best thing about this work is that now i have more time to spend with my family… http://korta.nu/MDe

It would actually be hard for Obama to remove him from office. He could ask for his resignation, which he would not get. The only way to remove him is to have proof that there was misconduct in office…such as misusing official resources. Sorry but Comey is here to stay for his full 10 year term.

Comey is not the reason she lost. She lost because she did not offer change. She lost because she ignored her traditional base of the blue collar worker. She lost because she did not get out there and campaign as hard as Trump, preferring to hobnob with the rich and famous for their money. She did not win because a significant number of Obama voters said enough. Look at her polling numbers…every time Trump was hit with something and dropped in the polls, her numbers did not go up…she had a ceiling. Anyone who was potentially swayed by Comey’s announcement was, more than likely on the fence anyway and would have no chosen her in the end anyway. This is just typical Clinton behavior…never take responsibility…always blame someone else.

Mrs. Clinton should look to the fact that Republicans maintained control of both houses of Congress and increased control within the states. It was her Party that failed by colluding with her to give her the nomination in the first place.

Hopefully Trump will act quickly and decisively to send this criminal to prison

I hope Comey’s check was big because he may need it to live on, if fired.

  • Ariana-Kaelita

True. She and the Dems forgot about the working class.
While she was busy hanging out with Jay Z and Beyonce and the filthy rich, Trump at least visited the smaller states which is made up of these workers.
Sorry, but atleast with Trump, we won’t see anymore of those annoying celebs at the White House like what Obama did!

He intended for the letter to have an impact and it did. The FBI has lost all credibility as a viable independent agency and Comey should resign before Trump’s innoguration. And for those of you who voted for him, all I can say is good luck. You are going to need it along with everyone else

I think a female can be anything but not president. Male chauvinism is still strong, a woman only can be a guffowing, background “first lady” accessory three steps behind the big and strong man. Melania Slovenia is the best example for this. Regardless of politics.

  • suzybel

I would say she should look in the mirror if she wants to blame someone.

Sometimes it’s how the dice roll, it happens. Of course many boys dream of becoming the United States President of America from comics, tv, movies and media coverage.

  • Toni Clift

Bullshit. She lost 6 percentage points immediately and by the time the 2nd letter came, she rebounded 3 but it wasn’t enough. Momentum is essential in the late days of an election. The gutting of the Voter Rights Bill by the GOP and the Voter ID laws had a direct affect on the black vote in states like North Carolina where she lost my less than 50,000 votes. This “behavior” was an analysis and an accurate one! Btw, she won the popular vote by 1.8 million and climbing. More Americans wanted Hillary Clinton as our president but now we have a con-man who dodged paying taxes, cheated his customers and his contractors and who is a shallow, misogynistic, bigoted, greedy man who’s level of egotism is at the level of a sociopath. Our new president’s reaction after meeting Obama? Via his Twitter: “Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair!”. To quote you, “typical Trump behavior to never take responsibility and always blame someone else”

  • Cruizin1960

Blah, blah, more excuses, blah. Clinton’s campaign stated that they noticed no significant change in polling after the release of the first Comey letter. In fact, they have acknowledged that the polls were tightening leading up to that letter. Clinton was never able to take advantage of the various hits the Trump campaign took…never able to really gain on him. Your excuses are not based in fact, merely more excuses for a poor performance by a lousy candidate.

She was actually guilty. You go to prison for lying to the FBI. She lied, about something major, and the emails exposed allot of shady things from her. Comey actually gave her special treatment. She lost because of her own lack of effort. Not going to keystates like Obama did.
