Carrie Fisher Reveals She Had an Affair With Harrison Ford While Filming 'Star Wars'

Carrie Fisher just revealed that she and Harrison Ford had an affair while filming the original Star Wars movie in 1976!

In her new book The Princess Diarist, Carrie recalls their intense off-screen romance when she was just 19-years-old and Harrison was a 33-year-old married father of two.

Carrie explained that they first got together following a birthday party for director George Lucas and their relationship lasted the duration of filming.

“It was so intense…It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend,” she wrote.

Carrie says that she at first felt insecure about the relationship, writing, “I looked over at Harrison. A hero’s face – a few strands of hair fell over his noble, slightly furrowed brow. How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me?”

Although the relationship didn’t last, Carrie says she looks back on it fondly, adding, “I was so inexperienced, but I trusted something about him. He was kind.”
