John Legend Was Inspired By Twitter Trolls To Write Song About His Relationship With Chrissy Teigen On New Album!
“I wasn’t really complaining about it in the song,” John expressed about his song “Overload” featuring Miguel at his Darkness and Light Album Release Party with Belvedere last night (November 14) at Samsung 837 in New York City.
“I was just like, ‘Let’s embrace it and live our lives and love each other to the fullest’,” John added (via USA Today). “But it’s also about, ‘Let that cell phone ring, let that blue bird sing.’ Obviously, the ‘blue bird’ being Twitter. (It’s) basically saying there’s all these other voices that are going to be out there, there are all these other people watching, but we’re going to do what we’re going to do regardless.”
That same day, John and Chrissy were spotted keeping it cool and casual while arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport after their flight from Los Angeles.
