VIDEO: Megyn Kelly Explains How She Kept Working for Roger Ailes After His Sexual Harassment

Megyn Kelly made an appearance on Good Morning America and discussed her new memoir “Settle for More” – specifically the sexual harassment advances from her boss Roger Ailes.

“It culminated in a physical attempt to be with me,” Megyn said on GMA. “He tried to kiss me three times. And when I rejected that, he asked me when my contract is up.”

“A woman can be harassed and then go on to have a good working relationship with a man harassing her. And that’s what happened in my case,” Megyn continued about how she was able to continue working at the network under her boss.

“Sure enough, he stopped,” Megyn said after she ignored him. “And we went on to have a healthy, working relationship. And what he said about promoting me and having my back over the next several years is true. It was one of the reasons why even I found it hard to believe that he was a serial harasser when the lawsuit broke and then women started coming forward anonymously. But it soon became clear to me that after reading the allegations that at least an investigation was necessary.”

We know it’s true. Glad Megyn Kelly stood her ground. I don’t agree with everything on the right, but I really respect this lady. She is no-nonsense and very intelligent.

Seen many men in high positions do things like this to women under them. It still goes on. And most of the men doing the harassing are married, not single.

absolutely. just got bear hugged at work out of nowhere by a married man yesterday. why??? i don’t even know, he just grabbed me and hugged me like he had the right. today, we’re working together fine. sexual harassment? maybe to some women. i just see an idiot looking for attention and wanting to think he’s awesome. it disgusts me, but what would come of reporting it? you move on and report it if/when it becomes worse. happens every single day in workplaces.

I’d document it, just in case. Harassment often starts out small and then progresses.

Megyn Kelly (who used to work as an attorney) hired a lawyer to protect herself.

i normally just tell someone, you know? like a friend or my mom. it’s not official documentation, but if you share it, it gets out there… and you get another perspective. i have no doubt it happened to MK in some form, as it happens every day to women. it seems innocent, but it’s kinda not.
