One contestant was eliminated from the competition during the first live results show for The Voice‘s eleventh season!

The top 12 singers performed the night before and then the bottom two singers had to perform for America’s vote on Tuesday night during the results episode.

Since the election was last Tuesday, the first live performance show of the season last week also served as the results show with eight singers going home at the end of the night.

During the evening, Alicia Keys took to the stage to perform her song “Holy War” with fellow coach Adam Levine serving as a backup musician.
