Leonardo DiCaprio Gets Warm Edinburgh Welcome, Calls Donald Trump Election Win A 'Shock'
Leonardo DiCaprio is all smiles while arriving at Home restaurant on Thursday (November 17) in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The 41-year-old Oscar winning actor grabbed lunch at the restaurant in Queensferry Street, which gives its profits to the homeless, and also met with Elise Lovell, 45, the winner of a competition to have lunch with him.
“He kind of laughed and said it was definitely a shock,” Elise revealed Leo said when someone brought up the Donald Trump election win. “He didn’t go into too much detail. I guess he’s looking to see how the next administration will progress in terms of climate change and the work he’s doing.”
“There were a lot of questions around the table,” she added. “He was very charming, he took lots of pictures. He made everyone feel welcome. He was absolutely charming.”
Leonardo is in Edinburgh to also speak at the Scottish Business Awards at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
