Marion Cotillard Didn't Take Brad Pitt Affair Rumors Personally

Marion Cotillard stars in the new film Allied alongside Brad Pitt and rumors swirled that they were having an affair, which was very untrue.

The rumors got even more serious after Brad‘s divorce from wife Angelina Jolie was announced a couple months ago.

“I never take anything personally when it doesn’t concern me,” Marion said in an interview on The Today Show on Thursday (November 17). “So I didn’t take it personally because I had nothing to do with those rumors or situation… I don’t give energy to this.”

Marion is currently expecting her second child with partner Guillaume Canet.

A lot of prerelease gossip has attended this plonkingly slow and
clonkingly laborious wartime thriller starring Brad Pitt as dashing
Canadian airman Max Vatan and Marion Cotillard
as Marianne Beausejour, the lissom French spy with whom he falls in
love. As Pitt’s marriage collapsed in the real world, social media
buzzed impertinently about the Allied stars’ relationship. But in this
film, there is no chemistry, no romantic fusion, no Bradion, no
Mariobrad. Their screen passion bursts forth like a cold wet teabag
falling out of a mug that you have upended over the kitchen sink and
don’t much feel like washing up. Their rapport fizzes like a
quarter-inch of bin juice left after you have taken the rubbish out.
