Hailee Steinfeld Opens Up About Perfecting Her 'Edge of Seventeen' Role!

Hailee Steinfeld looks stunning in a black and red striped dress while stepping out for A Conversation On Trailblazers: Women In The Workplace on Thursday (November 17) in New York City.

That same day, Hailee switched to a more colorful, bedazzled dress as she stopped by AOL’s Build Series NYC to promote her new film The Edge of Seventeen with her co-stars Haley Lu Richardson, Blake Jenner, Hayden Szeto, James L. Brooks, and Kelly Fremon Craig.

Hailee recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about her role in the film.

“With this character, it never left, like a matter of switching on or switching off,” she said. “Maybe that’s because I was close to her age and it wasn’t a period piece where I had to tie the corset tighter before we started filming. Somehow I found the ability to trust myself and my instinct and run free.”
