Natalie Portman Says Going On Hiatus After 'Black Swan' Oscar Win Was 'Well Worth It'!

Natalie Portman is opening up about going on hiatus from acting to spend time with her family after winning Best Actress for Black Swan at the 2011 Oscars.

“For me, it was instinct. Most women don’t have that luxury,” the 35-year-old pregnant actress told TIME. “I feel really lucky that I got to be at home as much as I wanted. And when I was ready to work again, it wasn’t that I had mountains of offers at my door, but I could still find something. It was well worth it for me.”

Natalie kept it cute and simple while attending The Film Independent screening and Q&A for her much-buzzed film Jackie with producer of the flick Mickey Liddell at LACMA on Thursday (November 17) in Los Angeles.
