Celebs Urge People Not to Ignore Trump University Settlement
Celebrities have been speaking out all day about several news stories surrounding Donald Trump, but one thing they don’t want you to ignore is that the President elect just paid $25 million to settle a lawsuit for fraud.
Trump was sued by over 6,000 victims of his fraudulent university and instead of taking the case to court, he settled with the plaintiffs.
“I settled the Trump University lawsuit for a small fraction of the potential award because as President I have to focus on our country,” Trump tweeted. “The ONLY bad thing about winning the Presidency is that I did not have the time to go through a long but winning trial on Trump U. Too bad!”
People are speculating that the whole situation surrounding Mike Pence‘s visit to Broadway’s Hamilton was done as a way to district people from realizing what happened with the lawsuit, so celebs are speaking up to remind their fans.
Let's not get distracted from a $25M Trump U fraud settlement, or Bannon, or the fact that Ivanka met with the Japanese prime minister!

Also yesterday you paid $25 million to pay off people and bury criminal charges against you. Let's talk about apologizing for that!

"Settled."— Michael McKean (@MJMcKean) November 19, 2016
I wonder if Pence went to Hamilton to take our focus off the Trump University fraud settlement. This administration is morally bankrupt.
