Je me demande pourquoi… I wonder why. The guy is such a nobody, terrible actor, ugly, crap.

It looks like he’s at least allowed to get himself home.
I wonder what it was like sitting through a French event unable to speak it or know what all is being said? No wonder he looks relaxed. He didn’t have to do much but clap, smile. Stayed in posh luxury hotel, treated like Royalty, dressed up like a mannequin. No responsibilities but look good, be polite.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

No, le sour grapes! Gerry’s never looked better.
Well, at least not in a long time. He looks like a “good boy” here. But the truth is dancers don’t stop moving.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

I am still curious why the turnaround? Did you hack into people’s accounts and find something out no one knows?

  • Nicole

I don’t understand what you want to know?

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

You were speaking badly of Butler for a good long time, shockingly so, I remember it. Now, out of nowhere, you are all ‘kisses’? Why the sudden change? What happened?

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    Interesting.
What stories were he looking for, about? And when?
Likes to do things in the bathroom. I laugh because I took crap from his fans when I was writing my first story of him doing this, not only alone, but with someone.
I nailed him well, even the composing poetry part. He’s a seeker. I wouldn’t go so far as to call him a romantic though. I’d love to hear some, read them? Most definitely.
I wouldn’t mind owning a signed bottle of Boss. I’d wear it.
He’s pushing the homebody angle but I get it. Old hearts are told to rest. Just kidding. He does that to go against the grain. And to avoid the selfies he’d be forced to take.
I’d love to hear what kinds of movies he likes to watch.
Personally, and this is just me, but why send someone away with them thinking you’re someone else not who you are? And what if they discover it later? They’ll feel ‘stupid’ and be wondering why no correction? I don’t get that by him.
I like that he has a private beach. I hope he has a deck too.

  • Nicole

Nothing happened! I never said bad things about Gerry. He just irritated me sometimes! But I love him anyway 😺 πŸ’—

Btw he was pretty busy with taking fan selfies you don`t always understand what people are saying/talking around you even if you share the same language due to the noise and sometimes due to stupid contents:)
Most people enjoy those events with just participating at them > like watching a theatre performance or a car race……

Elegance in Blue: Gerard Butler gives a twist on the black tie in French MOTY!
    Translation:
Are you tired of thinking about the work that faces the tuxedo at the black tie parties? Gerard Butler gave the example of how to update the dress code in a style full of style and personality in the French edition of Men of The Year, an award that took place on the night of November 23 at the Musee d’Orsay in Paris. We can not get rid of the task of dressing the suit, but we prove that with a little disposition it is possible to do well at gala parties without ending with a bosom-less look on our hands.
The blue tuxedo, bet by Butler, is increasingly common in specialty stores. To complete yours, follow the footsteps of the British man and combine the suit with the blue vest in a more closed tone, as well as the tie and the lapel. The shirt gives the final touch of the monochrome look.
It is worth remembering that Butler was honored at the French awards as the star of the year in the country. Over here, our Men of The Ear is scheduled for next Thursday, December 1st, and you can follow everything in real time on our website and on our social networks.

  • Time to ask…

    Congratulations Gerry!
Love how blue looks on you, any color actually, but blue is my favorite :)
You seemed a little nervous at the beginning, but quickly warmed up, and did really good. I enjoyed seeing you up there.

Don’t be so hard on yourself, you might be disappointed on the results of some of your movies, but it’s not like you said. You were there for a totally different reason, to be recognized, and that is something to be proud about.
So cheers GB, for even better times.

Sorry, but was “the painting of the hairy vagina” censored out? I’m gobsmacked. Did anyone see the image of what he opened his acceptance speech with? I guess it’s not an award ceremony unless you have Gerry starting off an thank you acceptance speech that’s vulgar? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always known he went for “messages” in his work. I’m truly happy for him getting this award, but how does one do a course correction after hearing that to applaud his efforts? And how is that “sophisticated”? Giving him the benefit of the doubt, he might have been being jokenly cheeky.

    Translation:)
    DESTINATION SOUVENIR
ON ICELAND ICE LAND WITH GERARD BUTLER
A protean actor (300, PS I Love You, The Fall of London …), a motorcycle fan and ambassador of Hugo Boss perfumes, Gerard Butler is also a city devoted to travel. Thus, under his cuirass of King Leonidas, his heart palpitates for Iceland.
“I went several times to Iceland, a country that draws me both for its differences, and its commonalities, with my native Scotland. My best memory remains the day when with a friend – bit of adventure, connoisseur of the country and completely barred – we took a car to reach the top of a glacier. The car kept slipping. I thought we were going to end up in a crevasse! Arrived at about one o’clock in the morning, in spite of fatigue, we planted our tents and admired the sky. It was fabulous. I felt like I was on Mars with the stars dancing over our heads. I thought at the moment that perhaps there was no better spectacle in the world. It was also in this country that I saw my first aurora borealis. Listening to Sigur RΓ³s, my favorite band, which is … Icelandic. This country still fascinates me. I must also have some viking blood in the veins! ”

  • Time to ask…

The what??? LOL! I didn’t hear that!

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

Yes, it’s an award he can take home and share with him mom as in none of the conquests from the red light district I presume? Who, my guess is, either cringing or rolling her eyes as her “in demand” actor sexualizes his acceptance speech in “That’s my Gerry.” mode as he marginalizes the viewing audience.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

So you watch the same way you read?

  • Time to ask…

No, actually, I’m having problems with the volume in my computer, so only heard parts of it.
And you, what’s your excuse for being an “A$$ H@/€” each and every time?

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    Right. That’s bullshit. 100% bullshit.
I expect better from the “Man of Today”?

Did you see the full video of that event? If not, at about 9:03 into it there is a painting that the presenter held up that he talks about when he starts his speech …..he said that an award ceremony isn’t an award ceremony until the presenter puts a painting above her head with a woman bearing her……

At 9min in you see what he feels so deeply what everyone needs to reminding of. I’m going to assume the artist is getting awarded? I’ve actually used that painting.

  • Time to ask…

    It’s true!!! I can’t raise the volume.

But in what part of the speech did he fit that line in, for what reason?

  • http://disqus.com Wondering

OMG, my computer would not play the you tube video but the link on your post played. I wondered why he would say that, now I know why. That was weird. It was a strange ceremony anyway. Leave it to Mr. No Filter to comment though. I would of loved to see the look on his face when she turned the picture around. Good grief!!

  • Lace

Ohh! No, I hadn’t seen the whole video.
I can see why he would think it, and it’s even kind of funny, but in truth, this is one of those moments where you practice biting your tongue instead. You know, for the sake of the classy line that he represents.

  • AJ

    So handsome! Thanks Lace!

AJ, now we know why Gerry made that comment about the picture. You are right he does not have a filter.
