Barron Trump Autism Video: YouTube User Releases Statement After Melania Trump Lawsuit Threat

YouTube user James Hunter created the now viral video of Barron Trump that suggests he could have autism, and is now responding to the possibility of a lawsuit from Melania Trump over the video’s implications.

“I’m honestly kinda scared right now. The only reason I made the video is because I saw how much social media was bullying Barron Trump, and I wanted it to stop. I’d be really sad if I’ve made the situation worse, but I never could’ve imagined that the video would get so much press,” James told Gossip Cop in a statement. “I was just sending it privately to people who were bullying him to explain to them that Barron might be autistic, and that’s it isn’t okay to bully him for it, because I know what it’s like to be bullied for being autistic. But then Rosie O’Donnell shared it and it blew up. I myself am on the spectrum, and I honestly just wanted to bring light to the autism epidemic. I have a lot of respect for Melania Trump. I believe she’s a very smart and I’ll think she’ll be a great First Lady.”

The video gained a ton of traction when Rosie O’Donnell tweeted it out and questioned if Barron could be autistic.

“I never ever meant to hurt her family or her son. If this is actually true, and if I actually see a real statement of her asking me to remove it, I will. I NEVER meant to hurt their family. I just wi[sh] them the best.”

Calling Donald Trump’s retarded kid Barron the term Autistic isn’t fair to people that actually have it. That child being the son of a complete retarded father makes his problems much worse.

  • moonriver

Leave this child alone. The democrats should be ashamed of themselves.

  • john

The only retarded in the picture is Donald

  • John Dow

Those commies and nazis called the Democrats can’t even spell that word correctly.

  • GroundControl500

I think children should be off limits but Youtube never seems to care about other children. 🙄 Youtube sponsors and makes money off some of the worst videos while refusing to take action

Also making observations about behavior by anyone is not necessarily defamatory. Certainly commenting on perceived disabilities – remember there is nothing wrong with having developmental challenges – is not defamatory in any way. It’s not like they said he acted drunk or coked up which would likely be defamatory. But discussing observations of autistic-like behavior is not defamatory.

So what we have is typical Trump behavior threatening a baseless lawsuit.

That said, leave the kid alone. Bad enough he has to go through life with that cretin for a father.

  • GroundControl500

    Democrats are Nazis? 😂😂😂

  • John Dow

US representatives (Democrats) voted against UN resolution that condemns attempts to glorify Nazism ideology (racism, xenophobia, extremism, ethnocentrism, nationalism, supremacism, genocide etc.) and denial of German Nazi war crimes (including the Jewish Holocaust). Actually that was a great example of who Democrats really are and why they have so much in common with NSDAP and CPSU.

  • Do Tell

    That’s true.

Well, now at least I know that this didn’t totally come from Rosie O. I thought it very odd that she would say something like this at this time. She’s basically backed away from attacking Donald Trump throughout the campaign.

I was already fearing for Rosie. But I hope this man, if he is being honest, has nothing to worry about. He explained why he did it, and I think the Trumps need to reconsider.

But now that it’s out there in the public, people are going to be wondering if it’s true until the Trumps put it to rest.

Thinking about it though, this is similar to what Trump did to President Obama with the birther issue. He had so many people believing the lies.

  • GroundControl500

Give me a link and I’ll look at it.

I can see why the US would refuse to support censorship. Before you go off on some misguided tangent you need to consider what principles are involved.

It’s like saying the ACLU supports nazi philosopy because they protected their right to march in Skokie. Principles matter even when they are used by the worst among us.

  • GroundControl500

It is ironic isn’t it? Or is it really just chutzpah?

  • John Dow

Keep excuses to yourself. US voted against that resolution in 2012, 2014 and 2016.

For example: official voting sheet (2012):

    http://www.un.org/en/ga/third/69/docs/voting_sheets/L56.Rev1.pdf

In November 2016 only 3 countries (again) voted against this resolution: Ukraine, USA and the small banana-producing Republic of Palau. What a «great» company to be part of.

The Trump strategy seems to be ‘double down’ on the idea that son is not autistic. The suggestion is credible though, and trying to hide it over the next few years will be a feat. It does seem to explain why Melania wanted to make bullying her platform if she becomes First Lady. I bet she’ll change her mind after this, because it will bring more attention to this issue, and remind people of this incident and her own lawyers’ ‘bullying’ of the autistic young man who created the video.

  • SquidBillie

She needs to start focusing on her upcoming duties as First Lady, even though she’s going to be in New York for awhile. She says she’s up to the challenge, but she doesn’t come across as interested at all.

  • SquidBillie

How stupid….do you know what a Nazi actually is? If you did, you wouldn’t be calling Democrats Nazis. Communists and Nazis are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Duh.

  • John Dow

The U.S. Democratic Party nowadays is a mixture of NSDAP and CPSU.

  • dalovelee

Why are people attacking anyone’s child whose parents are famous. Jesus Christ I get that you crazy ass liberals don’t like Trump but you have literally lost your minds and become Nazi jackboot thugs practicing bullying of his ten year old son. I hope Melania sues the living poo out of this low life. You don’t have guts to bully some radical Islamist fools who believe in killing innocent people but you target kids.

  • jane

or your kids, the spawn of ignorance, just as bad

  • Blanche Elizabeth Devereaux

Who cares–”autistic” isn’t a slur. Some may say the kid has some warning signs of autism…good luck to that Eurotrash bag in her suit–it’s not defamation.

The Russian propagandists have really spread themselves all over the net.

In the latest vote, you forgot to add that many nations also abstained, in effect, voting no. Those abstentions include the entire EU, Canada, Australia, the Czech Republic, Japan, a number of African countries, New Zealand. Do you think Poland supports the nazis? Do you think Estonia supports nazis?

Many countries saw through Putin’s political ploy with this resolution and refused to support Putin’s game. So you misrepresent the situation when you suggest only 3 nations opposed it. 51 nations refused to support it.

Back to your borscht, useful idiot.

Here’s the very sound US reasoning on the 2016 vote:

US says anti-Nazi resolution at UN restricts free speech

    November 17, 2016
The United States was one of three countries to vote against a U.N. resolution condemning the glorification of Nazism on Thursday, citing freedom of speech issues and concerns Russia was using it to carry out political attacks against its neighbours . . . “However, due to this resolution’s overly narrow scope and politicized nature, and because it calls for unacceptable limits on the fundamental freedom of expression, the United States cannot support it,” Amadeo said.

“This resolution’s recommendations to limit freedom of expression, freedom of association, and the right to peaceful assembly contravene the principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and must be opposed,” Amadeo said.

If you’re really interested perhaps you can gain some understanding from these articles.

    From the 2014 vote:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/11/26/canada-united-nations-nazism-resolution_n_6228152.html

Canada was one of just three nations to vote against a resolution at the United Nations last Friday to fight the “glorification of Nazism.” . . . Foreign Affairs spokesperson François Lasalle told The Huffington Post Canada via email Wednesday that while Canada has a “longstanding and consistent record” of protecting the rights of all persons, the resolution contains references “counterproductive” to that goal. . .

Lasalle said the resolution seeks to “limit freedom of expression, assembly and opinion,” . . . Lasalle also said Canada did not support the resolution because it referred to the “highly politicized and anti-Semitic outcomes” of the 2001 World Conference Against Racism in Durban, South Africa.

    And

    http://www.politico.eu/article/eu-abstains-from-un-vote-on-nazism/

Three countries voted on Friday against the Russian resolution: Ukraine, Canada and the United States.

Speaking to European Voice before the vote, Lithuania’s foreign minister, Linas Linkevičius, said that “no one should doubt that we are condemning fascism”, but, he continued, “under cover of this condemnation, Russia is pursuing its own agenda”.

“De facto, Russia is trying to attack the Baltic states and to determine history in its own way,” he said.

In 1940, the Soviet Union, whose legal successor is Russia, invaded the three Baltic states – Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia – and occupied them for more than four decades.

In early November, Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, defended the Soviet Union’s partition of Poland with Nazi Germany in 1939 under the terms of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. “Serious research has shown that such methods were part of foreign policy at that time,” he said. “The Soviet Union signed a non-aggression pact with Germany… What is wrong here if the Soviet Union did not wish to fight? What is wrong with this?”

Linkevičius said that it was “insulting” that a country “that is conducting aggression against neighbouring states, in a brutal way” – a reference to Russia’s invasion of Georgia in 2008, its annexation of the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea in March and its continued support for separatists in eastern Ukraine – could put forward this resolution.
    —-

Too bad you have no grasp of the US Constitution. Even worse that you do not support it.

  • GroundControl500

    You nailed it.

  • GroundControl500

Get a grip. What liberals are you talking about?

She has no actionable grounds to sue. Idle threats to styme free speech are antithetical to US constitutional principles.

And what does this have to do with nazis?

  • John Dow

Only three countries voted against resolution that condemns attempts to glorify Nazism ideology. USA is one of them. Period. The UN resolution doesn’t contradict to Freedom of Speech. The rest of your bullshit is irrelevant.

  • John Denver

And how exactly is one supposed to follow through with condemning glorification of Nazism? Freedom of speech is allowed here.

But you on the other hand, had to twist this into “denial of German Nazi war crimes (including the Jewish Holocaust)” being included in the resolution. Typical of a Republican bullshitter.

Start a Twitter account, and start bullshit tweeting just like Trump. Who knows, maybe the biggest bullshitter will get to be the next Republican candidate for presidency.

  • John Dow

    Ok

  • Dcoronata

“Nazi” is a proper noun, and should be capitalized. Hence in complaining about others incorrect spelling, you spelled a word incorrectly.

  • Lisa

Weird — so the person who made the video said “I’m honestly kinda scared right now. The only reason I made the video is because I saw how much social media was bullying Barron Trump, and I wanted it to stop.”

So a Trump supporter made the video.

haha it’s “irrelevant” because you just got owned by the fucking facts. When countries abstain from voting in the UN, it is completely relevant, but thanks for demonstrating your complete ignorance on international relations. That was a good laugh.

  • Liz

The left?! I agree, no one should bring up the kids. But before you continue to use the weak “argument” of generalizations, are you willing to generalize and condemn all of the right-wing for all of the DEATH THREATS made against Sasha & Malia by racists from the right? Didn’t think so.
