Michael Fassbender Says 'Assassin's Creed' Set Was Like The U.N!
Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard have teamed up with Australian director Justin Kurzel once again on their new film Assassin’s Creed, which was shot in Malta, Spain and England, and is based on a hugely popular video game inspired by a Slovenian novel.
“It was great. It was an international set. We also had a French woman, a Swede, a French man, so it was a nice mix. It was like the UN,” the 39-year-old actor expressed while promoting the flick with Marion, 41, and Justin at their photo call for Assassin’s Creed on Monday (November 28) in Sydney, Australia.
“These sort of films tend to be… If you’re doing over the 100 million [US dollar] mark, in general people are looking for a series of films,” Michael added. “So the universe of Assassin’s Creed allows us to go forward and make some more films, depending obviously on how this one does.”
“When I worked with Justin the first time, and all these amazing people he brought with him to work on Macbeth, I just had a very, very strong experience,” Marion added. “Justin is definitely one of the best directors I’ve worked with so I was super excited and happy to get to work with him again on this very different project.”
FYI: Marion is wearing an Audra dress paired with Ofée Joaillerie earrings.
