Michael Fassbender Says 'Assassin's Creed' Set Was Like The U.N!

Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard have teamed up with Australian director Justin Kurzel once again on their new film Assassin’s Creed, which was shot in Malta, Spain and England, and is based on a hugely popular video game inspired by a Slovenian novel.

“It was great. It was an international set. We also had a French woman, a Swede, a French man, so it was a nice mix. It was like the UN,” the 39-year-old actor expressed while promoting the flick with Marion, 41, and Justin at their photo call for Assassin’s Creed on Monday (November 28) in Sydney, Australia.

“These sort of films tend to be… If you’re doing over the 100 million [US dollar] mark, in general people are looking for a series of films,” Michael added. “So the universe of Assassin’s Creed allows us to go forward and make some more films, depending obviously on how this one does.”

“When I worked with Justin the first time, and all these amazing people he brought with him to work on Macbeth, I just had a very, very strong experience,” Marion added. “Justin is definitely one of the best directors I’ve worked with so I was super excited and happy to get to work with him again on this very different project.”

FYI: Marion is wearing an Audra dress paired with Ofée Joaillerie earrings.

Wow, I hope Marion is soon done with all the promotions. Must be annoying and exhausting when you’re (heavily) pregnant.

Poor Marion is she contractually obliged to fly so much pregnant? what if she gives birth and complications arise? is there a NICU aboard? is she at all allowed to board a commercial flight..? :(

  • Ause Ekel

Marion is nearly seven months pregnant, she should be resting. This baby wasn’t apparently planned but still, her health is more important. Her boyfriend isn’t around as usual, what’s surprise. Alone during all premieres of Allied, including in Paris, and now alone again for A. Creed.

Lol! Of course she is allowed to board a flight when pregnant!

    Travelling when you’re pregnant

For your and your baby’s safety you cannot fly after:

    - the end of the 36th week if you are pregnant with one baby
    - the end of the 32nd week if you are pregnant with more than one baby

After 28 weeks you must carry a confirmation from your doctor or midwife, such as a letter or certificate, in addition to your pregnancy record. This should be written within 7-10 days prior to travel and confirm your approximate due date, that you’re fit to travel and that there are no complications with your pregnancy.

This letter covers you for your entire journey, unless there are any complications with your pregnancy that requires medical intervention. Only then, would you be required to obtain an updated letter from the doctor that treated you.

I am aware of those rules, thank you. But considering that Marion actually was in Sydney and that it’s highly unlikely that she will give birth there, we can assume that she is not 36 or more weeks along in her pregnancy. Meaning it is perfectly fine for her to fly. If it was not, she would not be there. While the film industry is an industry full of shit, I can’t really see Marion being forced to fly if she was more than 36 weeks along.

My guess is that she’s around 30-32 weeks
