Peter Vaughan Dead - 'Game of Thrones' Actor Passes Away at 93

Peter Vaughan, well known for his work on Game of Thrones as Maester Aemon, the blind master of the Night Watch, has passed away on Tuesday (December 6) at the age of 93.

“This is to confirm that very sadly Peter Vaughan has passed away at approximately 10.30 [GMT] this morning. He died peacefully with his family around him,” his longtime agent Sally Long-Innes said in a statement (via Deadline).

Peter‘s role in Game of Thrones spanned the first five seasons of the series.

Peter‘s career spanned across decades, with numerous movie and TV credits to his name.
