'Hamilton Mixtape' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart!

No real surprise here, but the compilation album – The Hamilton Mixtape – debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week!

It sold 187,000 equivalent album units in the week ending December 8, according to Nielsen Music (via Billboard), with 169,000 in traditional album sales.

The album features covers from the hit Broadway musical by John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Sia, Andra Day, and more.

Coming in at No. 2 was The Weeknd for Starboy, followed by Pentatonix‘s A Pentatonix Christmas.

In case you didn’t know, the Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).
