Who Died on 'Walking Dead' 2016 Mid-Season Finale? Spoilers!

The mid-season finale of The Walking Dead tonight was a bloodbath that saw some upsetting deaths. Needless to say, the fact that there were deaths is barely a spoiler at this point. If you don’t want to know who was killed, don’t read further!

Leading up to the finale episode of the year, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has been hanging out at Alexandria and causing fear among the residents while waiting for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) to get back from his errands run.

Some intense things ended up going down and we’re super sad by the loss of some of the characters on the show.

Spencer Monroe

Spencer, played by Austin Nichols, was killed by Negan after he approached the villain to ask him to kill Rick so he could be the new leader of Alexandria. Negan said that he doesn’t have the guts to kill Rick himself, so he cut open Spencer’s stomach to see if he does have guts. Sure enough, in an incredibly gory moment, Spencer’s organs fall out of his body.

Olivia

After Negan kills Spencer, he asks for someone to clean up the mess. He says some more thing to the residents standing around and Rosita (Christian Serratos) decides to go through with her plan to kill Negan. Unfortunately, the one bullet she had hand-made hits Negan’s bat named Lucille. He of course is pissed off and wants to know who made the bullet. Rosita continuously says she made it, but he doesn’t believe her and tells one of his minions to kill someone of her choice. The minion kills Olivia (Ann Mahoney).
