Nicole Scherzinger Doesn't Support Abortion Storyline in 'Dirty Dancing' Movie

Nicole Scherzinger is one of the stars of ABC’s upcoming Dirty Dancing remake and she has revealed she almost turned down the role because of an abortion story involving her character.

The 38-year-old entertainer explained how her family is anti-abortion and she doesn’t want to promote it.

“I was like a crazy thing because, my family, my Papa’s a Bishop and my family’s really hardcore against abortion. So I got the role and I almost didn’t take it because I didn’t want to promote abortion, because my character has an abortion,” Nicole told the Daily Mail. “But I was like, hopefully they can learn from you know her ways and I can be a positive influence. My mum got pregnant with me when she was 17 and had me when she was 18. She chose.”

“Her parents were never going to let her have an abortion. So I came out, so I just want to you know encourage everybody to keep your babies,” she added.

Maybe instead of telling teenagers to keep their babies she should try telling them to make a choice depending on what they want and how they feel. Letting them know there is a choice and either is okay

So I’m guessing she’s playing Penny and also that she’s never seen the original movie ever in her life. The entire movie sort of revolves around Penny’s pregnancy.

It also highlights back alley abortions and how butchered women can get and how close to death they can get or unfortunately succumb. A woman just recently died in New York or New Jersey because of an unqualified doctor butchered her and she bled to death. It’s why abortions need to remain legal, safe and done by qualified doctors. “Every woman” gets an abortion, the anonymity of it feels safe for all women from every part of life.

And her mother choosing to keep her child is the basis of being pro-choice. That’s it: women choose. They choose to keep the child, they choose to get an abortion, they choose to put the child up for adoption, they choose surrogacy, they choose to only adopt, they choose to be a foster mother AND the biggest kicker of them all: to not have any children at all. It’s all pro-choice.

I love how she says that her mom chose to have her and then, the sentence after, she says her mom didn’t have a choice in the matter since her parents would have never let her do it.

Logic is a concept that eludes Miss Scherzinger.

Thank you for speaking out in favor of not murdering babies. The most helpless and innocent should be protected. Give them a choice too.

I think she’s contrasting between the two. “She chose” is referring to her character, who she mentions in the sentence before. It just gets lost in writing.

“..hopefully they can learn from her ways and I can be a positive influence. My mum got pregnant with me when she was 17 and had me when she was 18. She chose.”

    retard.

  • Gina

Is that all you got? Also, you’re about 3 months too late; and considering the definition of retard is “the delay or hold back in terms of progress, development, or accomplishment” I’d say that word applies to you lol. Bye, bitch!

I do, often and other people. Its fun. You should try it. Release some of that pent up tension you seem to be directing at people by using offensive languge. Of course you’re probably too busy abusing people on the internet and going to Trump rallies to actually get laid
