This Six-Year-Old's Women's March Speech Was So Inspiring!
The young girl was joined on stage by her parents and little sister. She previously made headlines when she slipped past security barricades to hand a letter to Pope Francis make in 2015 when visited the US. She handed him a letter expressing her fears that her parents could be deported.
“We are here together making a chain of love to protect our families,” Sophie started her speech, which she repeated in Spanish.
“Let us fight with love, faith and courage so that our families will not be destroyed,” Sophie said. “I also want to tell the children not to be afraid, because we are not alone. There are still many people that have their hearts filled with love. Let’s keep together and fight for the rights. God is with us.”
