'A Walk to Remember' Cast Reminisces About Film 15 Years Later, Mandy Moore & Shane West Want to Reunite!
Can you believe it’s been 15 years since A Walk to Remember hit theaters?!
The touching film, based on the bestselling novel by Nicholas Sparks, starred Mandy Moore and Shane West as two North Carolina teens, Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan, who are thrown together after Landon gets into trouble and is made to do community service.
Both actors seem interested in a reunion of sorts, and director Adam Shankman also has fond memories from filming.
“15 years ago I was so proud to release this very special movie I got to direct called #AWalkToRemember. It was my second directing job, and I will never forget the joy we had making it. I will ever be indebted to everyone involved. Especially @nicholassparks and my beloveds @mandymooremm and @theshanewest what’s y’all favorite scene?” he wrote on Instagram.
Mandy and Shane both interacted with fans on Twitter and talked about their favorite scenes.
“The most emotionally challenging scene was when Jamie finally tells Landon she was sick. Hurt my heart,” Mandy tweeted.
Fans suggested they star in another film together, and Shane responded, “Not a bad idea….”
