Selena Gomez Admits She Was 'Nervous' Before Pitching '13 Reasons Why' in Throwback Selfie

Selena Gomez celebrates throwback Thursday on Instagram with a super moving post.

The “Hands To Myself” singer shared the flashback selfie from the day she pitched 13 Reasons Why to Netflix.

“This was the day I was nervous as hell going into @Netflix for the first time to talk about @13reasonswhy,” Selena explains in her post.

She adds, “My mom [Mandy] found this book in 2009 and worked her ass off to make it with me, guide me and tell this story authentically (the only reason, beside Jay [Asher, author] this project was even made).”
